Title: The Holy Spirit & Your Transformation (2)
Series: Transformation
Author: Josh Malone
Text: Galatians 5:16-26
When we think about transformation and being formed into Christ likeness that sounds... well.. DAUNTING. I have no doubt that believers in this room would say... "I want to grow... but I sometimes I don't feel like I am. Sometimes I get frustrated. I have struggles and hangups that frustrate me." ---- Spiritual transformation is not just hard... left to you alone... its impossible. As we saw last week... it begins with conversion and that is a work of God. We are dead in our sins apart from Christ. God makes us alive. We are saved by grace through faith and reconciled to God. Every believer is now spiritually alive and the work of transformation has BEGUN but is NOT FINISHED. --- The good news is that God has not left you alone. Transformation is a guarantee and God has seen to it. How? He places His very Spirit in the believer. John 14:15-17
- The presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is the proof our spiritual life in Christ and the catalyst to all true spiritual change in our lives. So in Galatians 5 tells the Galatians how to be fruitful in their Christian life. How real change can take place, how they can be transformed.

[18] But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. [19] Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, [20] idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, [21] envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of Go ...
