Title: Welcome to No Man's Land
Author: Steve Wagers
Text: 2 Timothy 4:16

In the 14th century, a piece of unowned, uninhabited waste land, outside of the north wall of London was discovered, and was designated as a place of execution. It was given the name "No Man's Land," and became a prevalent term during WWI.

A soldier wounded in No Man's Land would be left there until it was safe to bring him back to his trench, usually at nightfall. Sadly, some soldiers died there because they could not be reached soon enough. The land was filled with broken and abandoned military equipment, and crossing No Man's Land was almost impossible.

As Paul comes to the end of his race, it seems he is in his own personal "No Man's Land."
