Title: Let God Speak to Your Ammonites!
Text: Ezekiel 25:1-7

INTRODUCTION: All of us have enemies! What I'm talking about is that we have people and things that come up against us. Most times, we can't seem to figure out why they are out there, but as time goes on, they end up showing their hand. Again, let's be mindful that if you have someone or something that's always coming up against you, messing with you, giving you a hard time, it's because they are under the influence of the enemy and you need to do something about it. If you think about it, not only do we have enemies, but we also have some Ammonites!! Look at our neighbor and tell them..."you have some Ammonites!"
I want to go on record and state that most times, when people are coming up against you, they are actually coming up against the One who is IN you because they are His enemies!
- They see God blessing you and they can't stand it;
- They see God promoting you and they can't stand it;
- They see God taking care of you and they can't stand it;
- They see God opening up doors for you and they can't stand it!
When you see these things happening, it's time to Let God Speak to Your Ammonites! The Bible teaches us in 1 John 4:4, "Ye are of God little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." God is bigger than your Ammonites and is ready to deal with them on your behalf. It's time to Let God Speak to Your Ammonites!
BACKGROUND/TEXT: Here in our text, Ezekiel is dealing with the coming judgment of God on the nations because of their outright defiance and disobedience of God. In particular, His focus is on the Ammonites, as they always seemed to be working against God and the Jews. To give some background, the Ammonites are descendants of Lot and were the offspring of Lot and his daughters.
