Title: God is Everything You Need
Text: 2 Samuel 22:1-7
Author: Darrow Perkins

INTRODUCTION: Everybody have their individual needs, wants, and desires. Your desires may not necessarily be my desires, and my desires may not necessarily be your desires, but as individuals, we have things that we desire to have.

All of us have the same needs; we all need air, we all need water, we all need food, and we all need Jesus. One thing that I've discovered is that after accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, He has the power to become everything we need Him to be in our lives.

BACKGROUND/TEXT: Here in our text, David is sharing through song what God is to him. We must remember that because of the jealousy of Saul, David had been on the run and God was with him. Deuteronomy 32:4 says, "He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he."

2. He's Our Fortress. The word fortress here literally means a mountain stronghold - a place of strength and safety. Psalms 91:2 says, "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God; in him will I trust."

3. He's Our Deliverer ...
