Title: We've Got to Believe God!

INTRODUCTION: Why is it we tend to have an easier time believing what people tell us and not always believing what God has told us? I believe it's because people will tell you their qualifications and experience and that gives us a measure of trust and confidence in their abilities. If you get one of their business cards, you will find that they have letters behind their names, like MD for medical doctor; DDS for dentist; ESQ for lawyer, CPA for Accountant. Even with that, we still want to feel comfortable in dealing with these professionals. For example, when we go to see a new doctor, we want to verify that they've completed med school, and have completed whatever specialized training or schooling necessary for them to practice medicine. I can't speak for anyone else, but when I go to the doctor's office, I look for their degrees on the wall as initial evidence that they can do what they claim they can do.
When we deal with these people, we tend to accept what they have said is the case concerning our situation, and normally do what they tell us to do. Society has conditioned us to respond to them that way to get the desired results we're looking for and for the most part, we don't question what they've instructed us to do.
NEWSFLASH: The last time I checked God's name, there were no letters behind it! People specialize in limited areas, whereas God specializes in EVERYTHING!
- Whatever you need, God can provide it for you;
- Whatever you have going on, God can handle it;
- Whatever health issues you're dealing with, God can heal it;
- Whatever financial challenges you're experiencing right now, God can take care of it.
God's only qualifications is that He's God and that's enough for me, so when has told us to do something, We've Got to Believe God!!
