John 4:19-24
In this day and time we live in, people do and respond to things based on popularity, perception, and emotion. Some people want to be popular, while others will only do things based on what they think or perceive what others may have to say about them. Some people will only do some things after they have consulted others and gotten their advice concerning the matter. Mind you, there's nothing wrong with being liked and popular, but not at the expense of your relationship with the Lord. The matter at hand right now is worship and we don't need to consult anybody but the Lord as it pertains to that!

If something special has taken place in your life, and you know that you know that only God could have brought you through that situation, that's a great time to praise God! You don't have to wait until you get to the church house to give Him that praise. When you think about it, He didn't wait for you to get to church to give you that breakthrough, so why wait till you get to church to give Him His praise?
We worship God for who He is! Who is God to you? Do you know Him for yourself? Has God shown Himself to be real to you to the point of knowing for a fact that God is who He says He is? We know Him to be:
- Jehovah-Elohim: The Eternal Creator;
- Jehovah-Jireh: The Lord Our Provider;
- Jehovah-Rapha: The Lord Our Healer;
- Jehovah-Nissi: The Lord Our Banner;
- Jehovah-Shalom: The Lord Our Peace;
- Jehovah-Rohi: The Lord Our Shepherd;
- Jehovah-Elyon: The Lord Most High!
When you know God to be these things in your life, your worship will have no problem coming out and you won't be c ...
