Psalm 27:1-4
Somebody once said, "Your attitude determines your altitude," which means if you have the right attitude, you can accomplish much in this life. Chuck Swindoll said, "Words can never adequately convey the incredible impact of our attitude toward life. The longer I live the more convinced I become that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond to it."
I have learned and am learning that your attitude towards doing something will determine its success for failure. Some people have a positive attitude towards doing things that they really want to do; yet have a negative attitude towards things they don't want to do. To give you an example:
- How many times have you seen the person who loves to go shopping have a bad attitude about going shopping?
- How many times have you seen the person who loves to go golfing have a bad attitude about going golfing?
- How many times have you seen the person who loves to cook have a bad attitude when it's time to cook?
- How many times have you seen the person who loves to eat have a bad attitude when it's time to eat?
My point being, when it's something that you look forward to doing, there's usually a good or positive attitude towards doing it.
Maybe it's just me, but knowing what God has brought us through, how He's blessing us right now, and that Jesus paid the price for our sins by dying on Calvary's cross is more than enough to make us realize that the only real attitude we should have is a worship attitude! The songwriter said, "As I look back over my life, and I think things over; I can truly say, that I've been blessed, I have a testimony! So, the question today is, "Do You Have a Worship Attitude?"
Psalm 27 have a few key elements in it. David, our writer, starts off by sharing and proclaiming his full trust in the Lord and knows that He [the Lord] is everything that's needed in his life. As a result of this tru ...
