In the scriptures before us, we find an angel appearing on the scene and stopping the events of Revelation, until 144,000 Jewish male virgins were sealed and ready for service unto the Lord. This stoppage and this sealing would soon lead to the salvation of an untold number of people throughout the world, because in the midst of calamity, God was still in control

In the bible we see several events that led to numbering the people, firstly we see King David numbering the Israelites, but God chastised him greatly for that misstep. Then we see Caesar numbering the citizens of the Roman Empire, as God used his census to move Joesph and Mary unto Bethlehem.

In the scriptures before us, we see another numbering and another census, as angelic beings go throughout the earth, selecting and sealing 144,000 Jewish males, setting them apart as evangelist to carry the gospel all over the world.
