Election 2024
Joey Rodgers
Ezekiel 33:1-5, Numbers 21:4-9
Good AM. After a great deal of prayer, conversations w/ others, and wrestling w/ my own convictions - I'm going to change my message today to speak w/ you about the upcoming election. But before I start, let me share a few thoughts.

And while I have strong convictions about the importance of rule of law, in particular, the need for the guidance of such blessings as the 10 Commandments - due to fallen nature of man, it's never going to be easy.
3 - What I have to say today isn't intended to be partisan or to get you to vote for a particular candidate or platform - but I do believe that voting is a matter of civic duty and Christian responsibility. I also know that many of you are extremely passionate about politics, a particular party/candidate, and that like me, you're concerned for this election - yet at the same time, we can't miss the forest for the trees. We must not lose sight God is still sovereign and present.
4 - We can never forget that no matter who you vote for and who becomes president, governor, or a Senator, etc. - no one person is going to save our nation. Our hope and trust must be in God. We must bend our knee and bow our hearts to Him alone.
The primary catalyst for this message began w/ (5) conversations w/ people I love, respect, and know to be Godly - who, like myself, are really struggling w/ the condition of our country and our choices for leadership. In dialogue w/ them, I've realized that there's a real struggle b/w personality or policy.
