If you have your Bible please turn to the gospel of John John chapter 14. We're starting a new series that will take us through the summer. It's a topical series. I've entitled it "Burning Questions." We're just going to hit different questions that people have. I had e-mailed the staff and I said "Well what are some questions that you hear out there?" And Chris came back and he had about ten questions. I said "Good night! You need to see our counselor." He said "Well you asked." So as we go through this series it's pretty open right now. If there's a burning question that you have - you know we've done the Q&As on Wednesday night a couple of different times and people seem to like those. So if you have a question that has been on your heart that you would like me to cover e-mail me. We may or may not do it but I'd love to hear from you. And we'll see how this goes.

But the first question for is this: What is God really like?

Sometimes somebody will listen to a particular preacher. I'm thinking of one guy in particular who I was all excited about meeting. And by God's grace I've gotten to meet some people who are well-known. And sometimes you meet a guy that you think would really be a wonderful guy. And then you meet him and he's not a bad guy but he's just a cold fish. It's just like I thought you were going to be a lot more friendly than that. I'm excited to meet you. You're obviously not very excited to meet me. That's what one of the things I've always loved about Coach Mack Brown when he coached at the University of Texas and now he's at University of North Carolina. I still remember probably in the 90's he hadn't been at UT all that long late 90's early 2000's. Somebody had written an article about Mack Brown and they said "You know it was so weird."
