Title: Seven Vital Signs of a Healthy Church
Text: Acts 2:41-47
Author: Dr David Davis
Acts 2:41-47 - "Then they gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. (42) And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. (43) And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. (44) And all that believed were together, and had all things common; (45) And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. (46) And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, (47) Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."

There are some vital signs to indicate whether a church is in good health. God can put His stethoscope to our heart as a church family and listen to see if our vital signs are strong.
Now -- keep in mind -- you, as an individual, make up the total picture of the church family. Just as the body has many components -- so the church is a picture of all of us pulsating life or disease.
As we look at this passage of Scripture -- you must keep in mind that this church is only a few hours -- at best a few days -- after Pentecost.
Let's look and see the vital signs of a healthy church -- but keep before you these signs as they relate to each of us.
