1.0 Throughout history there have been simple, yet passionate prayers prayed by well-known and unknown people that rewrote history.
A) Solomon, newly appointed king prayed:
1 Kings 3:9 (NIV)-"Give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?"
B) God answered Solomon's prayer by giving him unparalleled wisdom.
Solomon's prayer rewrote history.
C) Hannah, an unknown woman, barren and deeply distressed prayed:
1 Samuel 1:11 (NIV)-And she made a vow, saying, 'Lord Almighty, if you will only look on our servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.'
D) God answered Hannah's prayer by giving her a son, whom she named Samuel. He became one of the foremost prophets of Israel.
Hannah's prayer rewrote history.

(1)? After Jesus was resurrected, He appeared over a period of 40 days to His disciples to further ready them for life after His Ascension to heaven.
