Series: A MAN AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART
Collin Wimberly
I Samuel 28

CIT- Men do strange and crazy things when they get away from God.

INTRODUCTION:
"Oh, the road to Endor is the oldest road,
and the craziest road of all;

Hudson Taylor, the founder of the China Inland Mission said, "Circumstances do one of two things; if we let them come on the outside and put Jesus between us and the circumstances, the circumstances will bring Jesus closer to us. If we put the circumstances between me and Jesus, the circumstances will put Jesus farther away from us and we'll feel there's no help.

B) GOD'S SILENCE- Vs. 6 When he inquired of the Lord-when he asked God what to do; God would not answer. Three basic ways God spoke in those days.

Dreams and visions/ casting lots/ prophets.
