INTRODUCTION:

We come to the last chapter in the life of this remarkable man - Elijah. God has used him to call the people of Israel to repentance. He has prophesied against Kings, prayed up a drought and prayed down the rain 3 ½ years later. He has run in the power of the Spirit, and ran for his life in fear. He has know victory and personal defeat. He was, without a doubt the greatest of God's prophets to Isreal.
