12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Paul goes on to teach us some important principals of standing

I only want to touch on one of them.
It is the first and most important of all the principals.
If you do the rest will come into place later.
They are not meaningful if this one is not there.

1. Your posture - Stand

This is a place of desperation.

The kingdom of God suffer violence and the violent take it by force.
I am not going to let go no matter what!
I will stand firm!

Keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking.
Don't give up!

2. Your foundation - Truth
