What do you call a thousand rabbits walking backwards? A receding hairline.
What did the daddy spider say to the baby spider? You spend too much time on the web.

Being that today is Father's Day but I want to share the truths or this message with all of you!

Fathers because you lead their households

Single mothers because you are now the heads of their homes

Teens because you feel the pull of peer pressure!

Young single adults because you are trying to decide your future.

Every one of us because we must navigate through all the challenges of life.
In today's tumultuous world we all need an anchor to help you hold steady!

There is a speedboat down in Louisiana that is used for tourists to take them out on Lake Pontchartrain. It is a crazy joy ride. But the sign on the front dashboard of the boat reads:

Sit down, Shut up, and Hang on!

This is what life seems to asking us to do as we rush toward chaos.
Our world is moving so fast!
Our schedules are so hectic!
Appointments, activities, assignments, demands, decisions, deadlines....!
Plans, programs, seminars, people!
Political divisions!
Global conflicts!
People unhinged!
Drivers crazy!
Families disintegrating!
Relationships being destroyed!

The problem is that when there is no place for God then there is:

No truth but only spins and opinions!
No peace only fear!
No stability only conflicts!
No absolutes only ever-changing values!

Life then seems to have no purpose - it is only a matter of survival!

It is into this world that we are challenged to live, raise families, make life happen!

I love what the Psalmist said int Psalm 11:1-4 NLT

I trust in the Lord for protection.
So why do you say to me,
"Fly like a bird to the mountains for safety! (Ever feel like running away)
The wicked are stringing their bow and fitting their arrows on the bowstrings.
They shoot ...
