Nehemiah 9:1-38

CONFESSION IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL- Then why is it so hard? I was wrong. - Those can be had words to say. Our pride fights it. We don't like to admit being wrong, we like to be right, in our minds we usually are. However, we can't be right with God unless we own up to our wrongness.

- If you are going to walk with God you are going to have to walk in repentance. We come God in repentance and we continue in repentance. Personal renewal won't happen if you just read your Bible... remember you have to apply. Part of that is repenting of your sin.

We are in a series through Nehemiah. (Summary) Last week we saw the walls had been rebuilt and the people came together for the reading of the Word of God. They had been convicted in the reading of the Law and now they have come together to corporately confess their sin and turn to God who is rich in grace to forgive and restore them.
