- Today we get a look at the end ... before the new beginning.

- Everyone in this world is headed for a date w/ God. - People must give an account to God for their lives. - And Satan ... the wicked enemy of God's people ... he must ultimately pay for all he's done.

- Today, we get a picture of what I believe are the last things. - Now some of that is debated. Some of what we read and I'll point this out ... some believe it's present reality not future destiny. BUT ... we can all agree ... the final rebellion, and the final punishment of Satan, and the final judgment ... is future ... and it's the last things to take place before we enter a NH&E.

- Revelation 20 speaks of the binding of Satan, the reign of Christ and His saints with Him, the final defeat of Satan, and the Great White Thone of Judgment.

- Big Idea: In the end ... Saints shall reign with Christ, Satan shall be defeated, and all shall give account to the God who Rules. Therefore ... let us Fear not & Press on for Jesus.

Rev. 20:1-15 - 1Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. 2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.

1. Satan will be Bound.

- What is happening here?

- Some believe this is teaching us what happened at the cross and resurrection of Christ. They believe that when Christ rose he "bound Satan." They believe Satan's being bound for 1,000 years here is figurately speaking of the church age, from the resurrection on. By being bound they believe it's speaking Satan being unable to prevent Gentiles from coming to faith, the gosp ...
