Title: The Throne Room (7)
Series: The Book of Revelation
Author: Josh Malone
Text: Revelation 4:1-11

- Who's in control? - Do you look around at a broken world ... do you look at the sin, the wickedness, the economic turmoil, the cultural rot ... and wonder ... who is in control?

- We believe and we teach that God is ultimately in control. He is sovereign. He rules and reigns. - While the world around us may feel at times chaotic ... in the end ... God's eternal purposes will prevail. God is in control.

- Who or What is worthy of our lives and worship? - People live for lots of things. They gave time, energy, and money towards various things.

- Today we get a peek at a scene that illustrates this powerfully. - While this world at times may FEEL chaotic ... today we get a look at the reality of Heaven's throne room.

- While things may FEEL at certain way in your life from time to time ... God is ON THE THRONE ... and He is WORTHY OF WORSHIP.

- At this point in Revelation we just finished looking at Jesus' letters to the 7 churches. He addressed each one individually. - These were 7 real churches in the Roman Province of Asia. Now, we have a transition in Revelation.

- Today it's my hope that we ... See God for Who He is so that we may worship Him as He deserves.
