This morning we open a new series called "the glorious church"

It's so necessary to teach/preach on this because a lot of people don't have a solid doctrine on the nature of the church, the reason for the church. Jesus is building the church and as believers I think it's super important to know what the church is, why the church and what the blueprint is. You and I are the building blocks, the living stones that are being brought together...

"As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."

1 Peter 2:4-5 ESV

The church is the dynamic link between heaven and earth.

"And he came to a certain place and stayed there that night, because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place to sleep. And he dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it!
