- The most needed news on the planet is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone shares the same sin problem. As I have said before ... we are all in the same boat and it's sinking.

- It doesn't matter if you are in Orlando or Moscow or Beijing or New York or Havana ... the ultimate problem and need are the same, we are sinners in need of a Savior.

- However, we are all different too. We have different backgrounds, experiences, beliefs, and cultures. We all sin in our own language ... but commit a the root the same sins ... like idolatry.

- Today we are going to read where Paul's journey takes him to Lystra. - Here he will be taking the gospel to a new kind of place.

- 3 types of people you see the gospel going to: Jewish, Gentiles familiar with the One True God, Gentile Pagans (Never heard of the One True God.

- Usually if Paul went into a Synagogue in town, which is usually the first thing he'd do ... he could share the gospel and both Jews and Gentiles would hear. There would be Gentile converts there and those learning about the One True God. In some places the Jewish presence was smaller and there were a lot of people who hadn't heard of God.

- As we will see today ... Paul shared with a crowed in Lystra that was not as familiar with God. They weren't working w/ a foundation of the OT. They worshipped false gods.

- Today we will see how P&B handled being confronted with idolatry, and how they confronted idolatry with truth
