In the past, my wife and I would go to UTC Arena and watch "The Barnum Bailey Circus." The beauty of going to a real three ring circus is the organized chaos. The center ring might have a trapeze act going on, while one of the other rings has clowns doing their bits, and in the other, you might have acrobats jumping and leaping into the air.

The beauty of the circus is that it is not real chaos, it seems to be, but it is all well timed, well planned, and executed with precise precision, because in reality, people's lives are at stake, they could be injured or killed, unless things go as planned. It seems that every rope has a purpose, every box is out there for a reason, and every person, or animal has a job to fulfill.

In the chapter before us, we go to a feast, we watch a woman pouring out her precious ointment, before we see the revealing of the Lord's betrayer, then are introduced to the Lord's Supper, before betrayal is mentioned again, but by one of the Lord's loyal men, as they march from that upper room, down into the Kidron Valley, and find out that things are about to get much tougher.

It sounds like chaos, but it is divinely planned and precisely orchestrated, nothing about it was unthought of or caught the Lord off guard, he knew!!!
