1Sa 30:9 KJV - So David went, he and the six hundred men that [were] with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.
1Sa 30:10 KJV - But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.
1Sa 30:21 KJV - And David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not follow David, whom they had made also to abide at the brook Besor: and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that [were] with him: and when David came near to the people, he saluted them.

The Wall
Those that are runners know the term "Hitting the Wall" which means that there will be a certain point in your race or training, where you just "hit the wall" because you just experienced a dramatic decrease of in your energy and performance, which happens due to one's muscle glycogen stores being depleted. Once this occurs, you "hit the wall or you experience bonking."
I ran my first marathon in 1989 and I was well prepared for the 26.2-mile race, though one of my friends messed up by eating an abnormal breakfast. We met for breakfast the morning of the race, and I ate my normal wholegrain breakfast, but sone of the guy's eating were not running, they were pacers.
