Title: Counting the Cost (6)
Series: The Parables
Author: Josh Malone
Text: Luke 14:25-35

It sounds like you will be the boss of everyone. - But being the President also means making some really big decisions under lots of pressure, it means being the target of political attacks, it means being second guessed a lot, it means if you fail people can die, lose their jobs, etc. It may mean being away from your family a lot. I can't imagine that it's an easy job. It's a job, that a lot desire ... but that comes with very real cost.
- A lot of desirable things in life ... come with a cost. They aren't easy.
- Following Christ means Christ is supreme in your life ... and it means following Him at all cost, and putting Him before all others ... not to earn salvation. This is simply what FAITH looks like.
