If you have your Bible, please turn to 2 Peter toward the end of the New Testament, 2 Peter chapter 1. I want to talk to you today about the truth concerning the Bible, "The Truth About the Bible."
Been reading a book by Rosaria Butterfield. She was on the radio program before Christmas. She is a favorite of mine. She's a straight shooter. She has a tremendous testimony. She was a women's feminist movement leader. She was a professor of women's studies in college. She was an ardent lesbian. Well, she got confronted with the gospel. She began to study the claims of Christ, and she became a Christian, and her life was totally transformed. She has been married now for twenty years, is the mother of four children, writes and speaks and goes to college campuses and shares her testimony. As you can imagine, she's not greatly loved by the LGBTQIA+, community because of her testimony. Well, she was at one particular school, and she shared her testimony, and then she had a Q&A. And this person came up to her, this person that claimed to be transgender, and that person was very upset, and that person said to Rosaria Butterfield, "You have hate speech in your testimony." And Rosaria said, "What did I say that was hateful?" She said this person said, "Well, when you talked about sharing with your friend, Jill, who's transgender (that means that it's a biological man pretending to be a woman, just to help you out there), and you said that Jill put her large hand on top of your hand," she said, "that was hateful." This person said that was hateful. Rosaria said, "Well, I'm 5'2" and my wife, who goes by the name Jill, is 6'2. Her hand is much larger than mine. Large is just an adjective. It has nothing to do with hate speech. Her hands are larger than mine. That is a descriptive adjective." And this person said to her, "Transwomen (i.e. men pretend ...
