Text: Luke 7:11-17

We are celebrating the resurrection and the resurrected Jesus this season. Focusing on some of the principle players is one of the most fascinating parts of the story. How it impacted people then and certainly the impact now.

Of all the miracles, there is not one greater than the resurrection of Jesus

Matthew records that the veil of the temple was torn in two, the earth shook, rocks split and graves opened up after the resurrection and many of those went into the city to witness...

Consider just the concept of someone being raised from the dead

In the Old Testament there were three people raised from the dead Elijah raised one, Elisha raised two...

The widow's son I Kings 17/Elijah

Shumannite woman's son 2 Kings 4/Elisha

Man thrown on the bones of Elisha 2 Kings 13/Elisha

In the New Testament before his resurrection Jesus raised three people from the dead.

Probably the most incredible miracle thing that has happened..

Water from a rock was amazing

An axe head floating in the water pretty legit

But the resurrection of a person?...Next level God stuff!
