We hear that and we think.. OOOOOO. BOYYYYYy. Here we go.
Haha. I want to give you the Biblical backing to giving.
It is Your choice to live in it.
I believe 100% that if all the believers today lived on 90% and gave 10% through the local church the world would look different
NOW the bible has a lot to say about giving. a whole lot
Did you know the Word....
Believe - found 275 times
prayer - 371 times
Love - 700 times
Give is found over 2,100 times. more than the other 3 combined.
Maybe because giving is so personal
The topic might make you feel uncomfortable but to God, it is not uncomfortable.
Paul said it this way to the Corinthian Church in
2 Corinthians 9: 6-8 [NIV] 6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
Now as many of you know I don't claim to be the expert farmer.
Although we do have some in the room today
There is a reward coming to those who sow! It is called a Harvest!
Sow it,
Be responsible with it
Wait for it - does not happen overnight
Harvest it!
