Today we are looking at TOGETHER WE ARE UNITED - SAVED PEOPLE ARE A UNITED PEOPLE!!!
As a co-chaplin at UofA of football when the rails fell off at the Mississippi State Game
I heard a player say one time "Stop playing for the team and play for yourselves. This is your future. You better go out there and at least look good yourself. Who cares about the team."
We lost team Unity - We lost Together WE -
The result was we loss.
Here is what I learned...
Wins will not happen on the field if you're not unified together in the field house.
So I want to put us in the Field House for the next few weeks and look at our CORE VALUES the Lord gave us in 2019 called Together WE..
Through that series is where God birthed where we are today...
So let's look today at the power of UNITY and the power when a church is together as ONE unified under one vision God can use that church to reach a city!!
I believe.... When the (capital C church) Church unifies together under the mission of Acts 1:8 we will see America and the world change.
Acts 1:8 (NIV) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
One Mission - One Goal - to become a Reaching, Discipline, and Sending group of people.
Each church might have a different method, model, and structure to do this but be sure we follow the command of the Word of God in what we are doing.
The HOW might look different but the WHY we must be unified on.
That is who we must be at Together We Church - a church that is all about Reaching, Discipline, and Sending.
The Head of the Church - JESUS CHRIST - gave us this command and we must follow it!!!
This topic is such a big deal to Jesus he even brings it up in the Last Supper conversation.
