Last week I talked about "the matter of people" and that if people matter to God, they should matter to us.

One of the things I want to revisit is the matter of our heart toward people. That we can lose our compassion because of offense, bitterness, bad experiences etc.

The other thing that happens is we experience compassion fatigue.
Never before in history have we had such sudden, even immediate access to tragedy, suffering and reports of evil things happening.

And we get hardened, jaded and cynical and if I can say...judgmental towards people.

The hope I always have is that people can change.

I know they can change, because my testimony is that God changed me.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)

18But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
