INTRODUCTION: These days, it is not hard to find plenty of things to do. Our world is full of distractions and especially here in San Diego, there is always something going on that is competing for our time about church work and ministry. As Christians, we may find ourselves under constant pressure to do many things. We have bills to pay, business to do, and family commitments that all take time. The worries of life may be crowding our minds. Meanwhile, the emphasis of the church is normally upon attending more meetings. Church services, prayer meeting, district meetings; state and national conventions; choir practice; youth nights; board meetings - the list goes on and on. Some way and somehow, we may squeeze time for personal devotions and a brief read of the Scripture into our hectic schedule.

If we manage to do these things, and somehow hold it all together, we can then breathe a sigh of relief. However, it is my belief that we may do all these things, and in doing so, have missed THE MAIN BUSINESS OF LIFE - and that's soul winning! Yes, Jesus did say that He came that we might have life and of that more abundantly; ye Jesus did say, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and heavy laden and I will give you rest." However, He also commissioned us to make disciples - and that is soul winning. In doing so, we must share and proclaim the truth of the Word of God, share about the risen savior with a dying world, and do our part because The Church has a Mandate to Evangelize.
