Now, when I was a kid growing up, we didn't have a lot of channels on the television. It's way different than it is today. And so, you had ABC, NBC, CBS. You had a couple of UHF channels. They didn't always come in very great. And then you had Public Television, which they would use to torture people. You had to watch PBS. And so, you know, as a kid growing up, sometimes if you got sick and you couldn't go to school. And you weren't really sick, but you were sick enough to where your mom said, "Well, maybe you shouldn't go to school." And it's like, "Yeah, that's what I thought." And so, you would try and find something on TV. There was not a lot on in the mornings during the week. There were news programs. I didn't want to watch that. And there wasn't anything on UHF, so you would watch Public Television. And they had two shows on in the 8 to 8:30 range - Romper Room. Anybody remember Romper Room? And Captain Kangaroo. I don't know if Captain Kangaroo ever started drinking, but I think if I had that job, I might have had to do that. That's what we had. And I still remember watching Romper Room. You were really like scrapping the bottom of the barrel, because that was like a kindergarten class and here I was, a very mature second-grader. And I'm sitting there thinking, I don't want to watch Romper Room, but that's all there was. And one of the things about Romper Room is they'd have the class, and they'd do these little games and stuff, and toward the end they always did the magic mirror. You remember magic mirror? This is my magic mirror. The teacher would pull out the magic mirror, and she'd say, "Then I see people in the audience," you know, people that watching on television, and she would say their names. "And I see Jimmy, and I see Bo ...
