How many people in here have ever seen the television show, "Unsolved Mysteries?" Have you ever seen "Unsolved Mysteries?" It was only supposed to be for a short time, just like six episodes. They debuted in January of 1987, and recently Netflix picked it up. It's still showing today. It's been on for many, many seasons. It has 602 episodes in the can. If you ever saw "Unsolved Mysteries," they would take cold-case files and just weird and mysterious things, unsolved crimes, missing persons, that kind of thing, and they would delve into these cold-case files, and they would try and see what they could uncover. And sometimes they would solve a crime because somebody would see the "Unsolved Mysteries" and say, "Hey, I know something about this," or someone would confess, and that made it all worthwhile, "Unsolved Mysteries."

Well, today we want to talk about a mysterious person in Scripture. His name is Melchizedek. Many people wonder about this guy Melchizedek. We have all kinds of ideas and theories. He's very mysterious as he comes into the pages of Scripture. In Genesis 14, he has just a little blip on the radar screen of time and space in the Bible, Genesis 14, just a few verses. And then he's talked about one time again in Psalm 110, "...You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek." That's the only two references. New American Standard Bible, Old Testament. You do a search on Melchizedek; he comes up twice. And then, in the Book of Hebrews, the writer of Hebrews gives him much time and space. He's mentioned by name 14 times in the Book of Hebrews; this guy that is only mentioned twice in the whole Old Testament. He's very mysterious. We want to hopefully solve the mystery of Melchizedek.
