The Crown of Creation (3 of 61)
In the Beginning

Primary Scripture: Genesis 1:26-31
If you have your Bible, please turn to Genesis chapter 1. We're going to finish Genesis chapter 1 in a message I've entitled The Crown of Creation.
Now, how many people have ever been to London? Anybody ever been to London? Okay. A lot more have been to London than to Roundtop. When you go to London, if you visit London, almost always people will go to the Tower of London. That's a big attraction. And why do you go to the Tower of London? To see the castle and the dungeons, but mainly to see the crown jewels. The crown jewels are a collection of royal ceremonial objects that's kept in the Tower of London: coronation regalia, investments, scepters, and all that kind of stuff. It has 444 precious stones, precious and semi-precious stones. It looks really cool. Wouldn't want to wear it because wearing anything on your head that weighs five pounds is hard to do. One website said the value of that crown is probably around 39 million dollars. I don't think they're selling it, just in case. But, you're not going to find it at Roundtop, Texas, "Hey, we got this at the antique sale." But, it is the crown of the crown jewels.

Now, if you ever feel like you don't amount to much, like you don't matter, like you're not worth anything, you need to remember what God says in His Word about man, about woman, about humanity.
Genesis chapter 1. I'll begin reading in verse 26. God has created everything. He's created all the planets and the stars and the sun and the moon, and He's created everything - the fish, and then He creates all the animals and beasts of t ...
