We wanted to start the year with a look at how do we get to the next level in our walk with Christ. How do we display a surrendered heart daily.

A surrendered life chooses Holiness Daily.
Then we looked at NOAH
A Surrendered life adjusts its ways to God's ways, not expecting God to change His ways to fit your life.
Last week we took a deep dive into how to pray scripture over your life every day.
A Surrender life Prays Scripture over your life daily!
Today let's look at A Surrendered Life runs to God, not from God:
To do that I want to look at the encounter Isaiah had with the Lord.
Can I give this to you today... Encounters with God come to those who are open to the Spirit of God.
Those who show up to church asking God to do something in their life today.
Those who wake up each day and say - Lord may I experience you today
Those who open their Bible to read it expecting God to reveal a new truth that day.
I pray daily we have encounters with God throughout our lives.
Today I want to look at how Isaiah was open to having an encounter with God.
We know Israel was living in rebellion again and disobeying and God had a word for them but need a messenger. That message came through Isaiah after Is 6...
You will see today that Isaiah was open to what God had and displayed a surrendered heart and the result was he had an encounter with God!

King Uzziah, also known as Azariah, ruled over the southern kingdom of Judah for a long and prosperous period.
