How Can Jesus Be The Only Way (1 of 5)
Series: Questioning Christianity
Jordan Easley
1 Peter 3:15
How can Jesus be the ONLY way to God?
Is God real? How do you know He's real? Is the Bible true? Why do you believe that? Can Jesus forgive your sins and save you? Why Jesus? What makes Him able to do so? Why do you believe what you believe?
Today we're kicking off a new series of messages that I'm calling "Questioning Christianity." Believe it or not... Not everyone thinks like we think... Not everyone believes what we believe... there are skeptics that see the world very differently than we see the world... and yet, we've been called to love these people and share with them the hope that we have and the reasons that we believe in Jesus.
In [1 Peter 3:15] we are told to... "[be] ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you."
God says-don't just SAY you believe something... KNOW WHY you believe... and be ready at ANY time... at ALL times... to give a defense for that belief.

USA Today reported, not long ago, that many evangelical Christians also disagree with that as well.
This article included a PEW research study that was conducted, where reportedly... 34% of evangelicals rejected the truth that Jesus is the only Savior. That same study said that 29% believe that good works will save us... 30% say that salvation is through Jesu ...
