In this sermon series, I want to present five things that we should get right as we delve into the year of 2024. I think that there are many things that we could focus on, but let us look at these five things:

1. The matter of our salvation

2. The matter of our church

3. The matter of our bible

4. The matter of our praying

5. The matter of our witnessing

I am now 63 years old and I realize that there are some things that I am glad that I got right throughout the years. I am so glad that I got my marriage right and that I listened unto the Lord in selecting the right wife. Once there was a bible conference and they asked a guy to pray, he stood up and said, "Lord I am thankful for the blessing that you previously gave me, but you took her away and she is in heaven now. Lord, I think the one you gave me now is someone else's blessing!!!"

It seems that this man did not get it right the second time around. I want to challenge you to get these five things right, they are extremely important.
