There was a Datsun car commercial many years ago that shared these three words -- "We Are Driven."
When I looked up the message they were trying to convey to a potential buyer -- I found this definition.
"We Are Driven" which means "we are compelled with an explosive force."
John 3:14-18 -"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: (15) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

What is God? Who is God?
How do we describe what God is?
Someone said, "He (God) is the sum total of all His parts."
However -- God is so much more!
There are three answers to that.
1. God is Spirit
John 4:24 - "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
God is not a Spirit -- suggesting that He is one of many spirits.
God is not the Spirit -- suggesting that He is the one special spirit.
God is both of these and much more. God is Spirit!
2. God has no visible body.
He has no tangible parts.
Someone says, "I hear the voice of God."
God does not have tangible vocal cords or ears or eyes.
What we hear is our own voice through our conscience or what I like to call the "Holy Hunch" or the indwelling spirit that speaks to us through our mind.
