Remember this would have caused some major issues... but Mary's song and praise rang louder than her questions and fears. 19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

Christmas is the story of HONOR
Story of faithfulness.
Story of followship.
[NIV] 20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream (this Is the 3rd time in the Christmas story an Angel appears.. Remember for 400 years no angel or prophet was around, and now within 12 months we have seen 3 angels) and said, "Joseph son of David,
It is important that it is in the Bible that Joseph was the Son of David. Meaning he came from the family tree of David which fulfills biblical prophecy.
A human Jewish father was essential for anyone to be a legitimate heir to the throne of David
So again, the prophecy is coming TRUE!!!
Christmas is the story that displays God always keeps His promises!
do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy ...
