Text: Psalm 119:1-8

A preacher was about to leave on a long journey. As he packed his suitcase, he found that he only had a little room left in it. He said to his friend, "There is still enough room to pack a guidebook, a lamp, a mirror, a telescope, a book of poetry, a number of biographies, a bundle of old letters, a sharp sword, and a small library of 30 volumes." His friend asked, "How can you manage to fit all of that in such a small space?" The preacher replied, "That's easy! My Bible contains all of those things!"

W. H. Griffith Thomas - "The Word of God is a mirror to reveal, water to cleanse, milk to nourish, strong meat to feed, honey to delight, fire to warm, hammer to break, sword to fight, seed to sow, lamp to guide, statute to legislate, and gold to treasure."
