Title: Jesus is Your Reason to Be Thankful
Author: Jerry Watts
Text: Mark 10:32-34

We are just a few days in front of that ONE DAY called, "Thanksgiving Day". I've often wondered why it's only ONE DAY instead of 365. I know that this time was "Celebrated by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World in October 1621. That event, with 53 Pilgrims (survivor of the Mayflower) and some 90 Natives, lasted 3 days." Aren't you glad that Jesus had and has a clear direction. People who have no direction wind up simply 'wandering' with no purpose. This is not Jesus. He didn't just come to earth and make it up as He went, His life was filled with direction, purpose, and a goal. He knew and He knows where He's going and where He goes, He calls us to go also.
