I believe congratulations are in order this morning. You have arrived at the final sermon in our study through the book of Numbers. I know you doubted in the beginning. You wondered if you could make it. You were worried if you could survive a study in Numbers. But here you are. *In fact, I think congratulations are in order. Go ahead and give yourselves a hand for making it through. You are clapping because you've made it to the end of this study. And I'm just going to pretend you're clapping for me. Just kidding! But only a little.*

We began this series thirteen weeks ago. And during this time, we have studied God's people living, Life In Between. They are in between their miraculous rescue from Egypt and receiving the fulfillment of God's promised land. And one of the major lessons we've learned is this - what the wilderness was to the people of Israel, the world is to the Christian today. Living in this world is like wandering in the wilderness. We are living in between the promise God has given us and the fulfilled provision of that promise.

Today, from Numbers 33-36, I'm preaching on this subject, In Between Earth and Eternity. In these last few chapters, we find God's people coming to an end of their journey and preparing to enter the Promised Land. God still has a few lessons for them to learn. And of course, we still have some lessons to learn as well. READ 33:1-2, 55-56; 35:1-3, 9-12, 34; 36:13
