Text: Numbers 21

Today, we're in Numbers 21. We are steadily walking through this wonderful Old Testament book in a series called, Life In Between. This is one of the more familiar stories in the book of Numbers. It's the story of the bronze serpent in the wilderness. *In fact, the biblical story most likely inspired the Greek myth of Asclepius. The remnant of the first generation is still present until chapter 26, when the complete transfer is marked by a new census. Nevertheless, in some ways the story of the new generation starts here in Numbers 21.1

Today, from this passage, we see God's people In Between Life and Death. And every single day in our society, people are on the brink of eternity. Eternal death, separated from the Lord. Or eternal life, in the presence of Jesus. READ 4-9
