Because of our soft hearts and easy lives, we seem to have a difficult time with anything having to be destroyed. Over the past weeks, we have seen protests against Israel as they have responded to the unprovoked attacks of October 7. Candidly, Hamas may well be destroyed, and that bothers some because destruction bothers many in this great land.

In Revelation 17-18, we become witnesses to God's ultimate judgment in living color. God created all there is and prefers to redeem, but because of the choices of mankind, judgment is coming to all those who oppose God.

Chapter 17 gave us a picture of the "Notorious Prostitute" (the OWC), her connection to the one world government, and their opposition to God. Chapter 18 gives us the picture of both Babylons being destroyed. This is difficult, but if we are faithful to hear, we will discover His heart. (TEXT)
In this message, my desire is for you to clearly see the scenario of evil being destroyed, pick up some tidbits of personal help along the way, and end by responding to the personal call from heaven itself. Let's begin with:

1) The Courier - (Vs 1) Throughout the history of mankind, God has sent couriers from heaven to bring His message to mankind. We could spend much time giving names; Abraham, Lot, Samuel, Daniel, Mary, and Joseph, are but a few of the men who encountered heavenly messengers. Look here;

a. The Angel- John saw 'another' angel which must be different from the other angels. The others had simply blown trumpets and poured out bowls of judgment. This angel was different for a couple of reasons.

b. The Authority - The type and amount of authority you have is based largely on who give it to you. This angel had been the authority by God, it was special authority. Other angels were simply given a task and told to do it. This angel is special because of its authority and attire. Obviously, God gave Him Holy ...
