The Christmas Story is filled with special events, special encounters, and special evolutions. We saw this occur as the Lord sent his special angel to some special people, namely Zachariah, Joseph, Mary, and the Shepherds. In the story before us today, we will see a "Special Star" that I believe was not even a star, but the "Shekinah Glory Cloud of God."

This series is called "Glimpses of Glory" as we follow the Christmas Story from Nazareth to Bethlehem. The story involves numerous people and places, as we go from city to city, from Persia to Jerusalem, and from the manger to the fields of Bethlehem, and then back to the manger.

We catch "Glimpses of Glory" as God recruits normal people to fill abnormal roles, such as peasants becoming parents to a king, a cave becoming the birthplace for the very Son of God, and shepherds becoming the chosen ones to hail the story of Christs birth. The Gentiles are even brought into the story as God moves a Roman Emperor and calls forth Wisemen from Persia, wow!!!

Let us look at this "Special Star" as we catch "Glimpses of Glory."
