Eph 6:1-9.

Now can we all agree, that today parenting is challenging...

I don't claim to be an expert, but today I want to add value to you on what I am challenged with daily.

Parents, Grand Parents, Co-Parents, and Singles I want to encourage you today... The Family is defined by how we parent.

You say that is a lot of pressure as a parent. Welcome to being a grown-up. Haha.

It Starts with our Marriage - go back to last week's message
Then goes to Parenting

NOW.... We all have parenting questions, do we not?

When do you say NO?

When do you say YES?

When do you allow them to Go?

When do you keep them home?

When should curfew be?

When do you take something away?

When do you let them fall on their face?

When do you step in to help them?

When do you give them a phone?

When do you take their phone?

I mean this parenting thing is a challenge and each kid is different

Well, I am not going to answer all those questions but I do want to help you lead your family to be a Godly family and to allow your family to be defined as a family that is IN Christ!!

Did you know that studies have now proven when your kids leave their home, what will keep them active in church?

What will help keep them active is what you instill in them today

The studies showed... The kids who were in church and stayed in church in college had 5 things.

1. Ate dinner 5 of the 7 nights a week as a family.

2. Serve with their families in the local church.


3. Entrusted with responsibility at an early age.

4. Had one spiritual experience in the home weekly.


5. Had at least one faith-focused adult in their lives other than their parents - a small group leader.
