I know that many of us DO pray. But I know a lot of people don't. Maybe it's because God's invisible, or we're too busy, or we didn't get an answer. WHATEVER. In today's sermon series we'll see why EVERYONE needs a prayer life.
TEN REASONS TO HAVE A PRAYER LIFE
Everybody needs a prayer life. Even atheists.

1) KINESIS
Yes, it's going to be THAT kind of a sermon. "Kinesis" is MOTION in response to external stimulus. It's a BIOLOGICAL term, which fits because we're talking about two LIVING beings - YOU and GOD.
As soon as we pray, God begins answering our prayers - he sets the wheels in MOTION. As soon as we pray for a loved one who is sick...As soon as we pray over our finances...As soon as we pray over our job, our marriage, our children, our grief, our neighbor, our temptation, our addiction...as soon as we pray those prayers, that soon, that quick, God begins to answer those prayers. He answers those prayers in ways that are positive, beneficial and in the best interest of us and the people we're praying for. "Well Steve, where do you get THAT idea?" In the Bible where the curtain into the unseen world is pulled back ever so briefly to give us a glimpse of the machinations of God that are ...
