As you know by now, Israel is at war. They didn't start this war. They were attacked and are now defending themselves against a terrorist organization called Hamas.
Did you know that word, Hamas, is found in the Bible? In [Genesis 6:11] it says, "Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight, and the earth was filled with wickedness." That word 'wickedness' in Hebrew is the word Hamas. It's a noun that literally translates as 'an act of aggression involving physical contact.
Since October 7th, terrorists with Hamas have lived up to their name... They've now murdered over 1,400 people in Israel. 31 Americans have been killed. Another 13 are still missing. These terrorists have raped women... they've butchered babies in their bedrooms... they've burned children alive, and they've taken over 199 innocent hostages.
Today, it's like... every time we turn on the news... we get an even more vivid view... of how the EVIL in this world has set their sights on the nation of Israel. And many of us wonder, WHY? Why would evil terrorists dedicate all of their energy and resources... to facilitating an unprovoked attack on this peaceful nation?
I mean, think about it. What have the Jews ever really done to anyone? What did they do to Hitler? What have they done to Hamas or Hezbollah?
The mantra for the Jewish people is the word "Shalom" -that word means 'Peace' ...and it's more than a greeting for the people of Israel, it's a way of life. I've been to Israel many times... and what I've seen throughout the years is that the Jews are a people that just want to live in peace and be left alone... and yet, it seems like every evil superpower in the world has hated them and sought to destroy them for thousands of years.
