There are many things in life that are unexplainable.

They just don't make sense from our perspective.

It was February 15, 1947, None of the passengers in the plane ever knew what happened. They died instantly. The Avianca Airline flight bound for Quito Ecuador, crashed into the 14,000 foot high towering peak of El Tablazo not far from Bogot·. A young New Yorker, Glenn Chambers, was one of the victims. He had planned to begin a ministry in Quito, a life long dream. Just the day before at Miami airport he hurriedly dashed off a note to his mom on a piece of paper he had found on the terminal floor. The scrap of paper was once a printed piece of advertisement with the single word "WHY" sprawled across the center. Between the mailing and the deliver of that note, Glenn Chambers was killed. When the letter arrived at his mothers, there staring up at this mom was the haunting question - WHY?

Of all questions it is the most searching, the most tormenting.

Why me? Why now? Why this?

Consider Job... imagine his feelings when he heard the words, "You've lost your livestock, your sheep and camels were destroyed, Your employees were murdered and all your children were killed in a freak storm.

Standing there beside ten fresh graves. At a total loss to explain even one tragedy say nothing of the other five. The heavens were mute.

His wife said "Curse God and Die"

Boldly he snapped, "You sound like a fool woman! "Shall we accept only good from God and never adversity?"

The writer of Hebrews paints for us an understanding that we don't always get what we want here and now.

I know that we quote Jesus and say "All things are possible to him that believes!"

Yes that is true.

All things are possible but not all things happen the way that you want them or expect them too.

No one had more faith!
