Text: Romans 8:14-17
If you have your Bible, please turn to Romans chapter 8. We started a series just a couple of weeks ago entitled, "More Than Conquerors" from Romans 8:37. And today, I want to talk to you about this subject: "When God Becomes Your Father."
Fanny Crosby is a well-known name to people in church. She was famous for all the hymn-writing that she did. She wrote over 8,000 hymns and gospel songs. Well, one of her most famous hymns, we just sang a piece of it just a minute ago, "Blessed Assurance." "Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine. O, what a foretaste of glory divine. Heir of salvation, purchase of God. Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long." She had blessed assurance. Do you have blessed assurance? Is that your song, that Jesus Christ is you ...
