I. INTRODUCTION

A. ON JANUARY 22, 1973 THE SUPREME
COURT LEGALIZED ABORTION.

1. “A STATE IS FORBIDDEN TO
PROHIBIT ABORTIONS ANYTIME TO
BIRTH IF IN THE OPINION OF ONE
LICENSED PHYSICIAN AN ABORTION
IS NECESSARY TO PRESERVE THE
LIFE OR HEALTH OF THE MOTHER.

2. “MEDICAL JUDGMENT MAY BE
EXERCISED IN THE LIGHT OF ALL
FACTORS, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL,
PSYCHOLOGICAL, FAMILIAL, AND
WOMAN’S AGE RELATIVE TO THE
WELL BEING OF THE PATIENT.”

3. IN OTHER WORDS ANY SITUATION
FORCING UPON A WOMAN A
DISTRESSFUL LIFE.

a. PHYSICAL HARM.

b. TAXING OF THE PHYSICAL OR
MENTAL HEALTH OF THE
MOTHER.


c. BRINGING A CHILD INTO A
FAMILY UNABLE TO CARE FOR
THE BABY.

d. THE BABY TAKES AWAY THE
ABILITY TO LIVE THE
LIFESTYLE TO WHICH YOU
ARE ACCUSTOMED.

4. TODAY, ABORTION IS ON DEMAND.

5. ANY WOMAN FOR ANY REASON WHO
DESIRES CAN RECEIVE AN
ABORTION.

B. WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY?

1. THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF THE SACRED
NATURE OF LIFE.

2. PSALMS 139 IS A BEAUTIFUL
PICTURE OF LIFE, HOW IT BEGINS,
AND WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
BRINGING LIFE INTO THE WORLD.

II. THE RECOGNITION OF GOD’S VALUE.

A. LIFE IS CREATED AND DESIGNED BY GOD
HIMSELF.

1. THROUGHOUT THIS PASSAGE DAVID
RECOGNIZED THE CREATIVE AND
DESIGN WORK OF GOD.


2. WE SING AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL
AND LOOK TO THE MAJESTY OF THE
MOUNTAINS AND THE POWER OF
THE SEA AND EXCLAIM, “YOU ONLY
HAVE TO SEE THESE THINGS TO
BELIEVE THERE IS A GOD.”

3. YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO GO NO
FARTHER THAN THE HUMAN BODY
TO MAKE THAT STATEMENT.

4. AUGUSTINE SAID, “MEN GO ABROAD
TO WONDER AT THE HEIGHT OF
MOUNTAINS, AT THE HUGE WAVES
OF THE SEA, AT THE LONG COURSE
OF THE RIVERS, AT THE VAST
COMPASS OF THE OCEAN, AT THE
CIRCULAR MOTION OF THE STARS,
AND THEY PASS BY THEMSELVES
WITHOUT WONDERING.”
